from issuing over $35 million in business financing to achieving a 98 percent satisfaction rating from business training attendees, new business investment and entrepreneurial success are being touted in the 2010 Annual Report released by the Economic Development Center (EDC) of St. Charles County.

"Looking back over 2010, it is clear the EDC remained true to our vision to grow and retain jobs and business investment through the countless and measurable services we provide," said EDC President & CEO Greg Prestemon.

This included offering competitive business financing throughout Missouri and the Metro East in Illinois, helping entrepreneurs and small business owners succeed in the EDC incubator facility, working with companies inside and outside St. Charles County to bring about job creation and new investment, and enacting public policy initiatives through our civic membership group, the Partners for Progress of Greater St. Charles.

"The future of St. Charles County is full of potential and the EDC is proud to do its part in making this award-winning community a great place to grow your business and your life," Prestemon added.
