St. Charles County, Missouri.
As the local area has grown from just over 212,000 residents in 1990 to more than 353,000 in 2009, community and business leaders in St. Charles County have worked diligently to invest billions in public infrastructure to ease transportation in and through the area.

Thanks to the coordination of local, state, and federal officials and agencies, St. Charles County is served by four river crossings: the Veterans Memorial Bridge (opened 2003), the Highway 370 Discovery Bridge
(opened 1992), the Interstate 70 Blanchette Bridge and Interstate 64/Highway 40 Boone Bridge.
Many corporate travelers enjoy the convenience of landing at Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield Valley which is just across the river bluffs from the Missouri Research Park on Interstate 64/Highway 40.
Two railroad systems for commercial traffic also run through St. Charles County: Norfolk Southern Railway and Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway.
For those drawn to more scenic routes, the Grafton Ferry and Golden Eagle Ferry provide access from northern St. Charles County across the Mississippi River to the Great River Road in Illinois.
