The Confluence Tech Hub is charting a bold course for innovation in St. Charles County, driven by a clear mission: to make the region a premier destination for tech entrepreneurship — with a strong focus on the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence.

Launched through a groundbreaking partnership between Lindenwood University, St. Charles Community College, St. Charles County Government, the EDC, and local technology leaders, the Hub is more than just an organization — it’s driving economic and technological progress by aligning education, government, and industry to create a thriving innovation ecosystem.

At the heart of this effort is the Hub’s AI accelerator program, which offers customized business support to entrepreneurs working to launch AI-driven ventures in the region. From early-stage startups to founders ready to scale, participants will gain access to resources designed to fast-track development and commercialization.

But the support doesn’t stop there. With regular “Tech Talk” events, hands-on mentorship, and connections to regional industry leaders, the Confluence Tech Hub is building a community where cutting-edge ideas can take root and grow.

On August 6, 2025, the EDC will recognize the Confluence Tech Hub with the Economic Development Initiative Award at the St. Charles County Economic Development Awards Luncheon — honoring its extraordinary efforts to foster collaboration, fuel innovation, and shape the future of technology in our region.
