A state of emergency about the public health crisis COVID-19 (“coronavirus”) has been declared in March 2020 by U.S. President Donald Trump, Missouri Governor Mike Parson and St. Charles County Executive Steve Ehlmann.
All residents and businesses are urged to closely monitor daily updates and announcements from public health and elected officials as this emergency unfolds and disrupts normal life in St. Charles County, around metro St. Louis and across the USA.
From practicing social distancing, increased hygiene and avoiding crowds as well as being concerned for the high risk people in our community and practicing self-isolation when needed, the EDC remains committed to serving the businesses, institutions, communities and people who comprise St. Charles County, Missouri.
Together, we have survived historic floods, deadly tornadoes, the Great Recession, and past viral outbreaks. We believe that working together we will also survive COVID-19 because our community has resilience, endurance, generosity and determination.
Together we are ST. CHARLES COUNTY STRONG!
