Partners for Community Partners

The EDC Partners were founded in 2001 as the Partners for Progress of Greater St. Charles (PfP) and has included some of the area’s largest employers and influential civic leaders.

Working together, they are committed to helping St. Charles County be a nationally renowned, most livable community. Through leadership and collaboration, EDC Partners initiatives are focused on the economy, education, health and quality of place.

In the last 20 years, the EDC Partners have brought local attention to best practices from peer collar counties growing around the USA. They have elevated the awareness and embrace of STEM education and activities, funding key efforts over the years.

Other noteworthy efforts have included Progress Awards for regional excellence, promoting infrastructure development, hosting panels and workshops and focus groups on workplace wellness, generational changes, affordable housing, quality of place issues and the creation of the MO’ Cowbell Race.
