St. Charles County has grown from just over 212,000 residents in 1990 to an estimated 400,000 in 2019. Over the last few decades, local community and business leaders have worked diligently to invest billions in public infrastructure to build new roads, bridges and highways to serve the businesses, residents and visitors to St. Charles County.

Travel By Air
Many corporate travelers enjoy the convenience of landing at Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield Valley which is just across the river from the Missouri Research Park on Interstate 64/Highway 40.
The St. Charles County Regional Airport - Smartt Field is less than a 15 minute drive from all the amenities of the Historic St. Charles Riverfront.

For those drawn to more scenic routes for traveling, the Brussels Ferry and Golden Eagle Ferry provide access to northern St. Charles County across the Mississippi River to the Great River Road in Illinois.
