St. Charles County is planting its flag as a regional leader in artificial intelligence, with strong partnerships across higher education, local government, and private industry.

Confluence Tech Hub

The EDC is proud to be a founding member of the Confluence Tech Hub—a collaborative initiative formed to attract AI-related startups to the region by providing funding and mentorship opportunities.  Created in partnership with Lindenwood University, St. Charles Community College, St. Charles County Government, and a growing network of local tech leaders, this  “AI accelerator” program will offer $50,000 grants and support services to entrepreneurs who bring their AI-related business ideas to St. Charles County.  

The group is a recipient of a $250,000 Regional Node Grant from the Missouri Technology Corporation, with additional funding efforts underway.
