VSM Abrasives Corporation is growing in St. CharlesCounty - again! The US subsidiary of a German abrasives manufacturer has broken ground on a $6 million, 50,000 SF expansion of its O'Fallon location. VSM previously expanded in O'Fallon in 2019.
Company President Brent Barton said the expansion would increase overall production capabilities by allowing more space for shipping, materials, and finished goods.
VSM manufactures coated abrasives for the industrial processing of metal and wood-based materials. The company has a presence in over 60 countries, with its sole US location in O'Fallon. The O’Fallon subsidiary employs 130 workers locally and 150 nationwide.
